The Yotta MVS Property Information Collection System has been internally developed and rigorously field-tested on millions of parcels. To ensure accuracy and reliability, we incorporate leading-edge database management tools, GIS applications, GPS data capture, and digital photography utilizing high-speed 10-megapixel digital image capture for high quality images. This technology is deployed through a mobile data collection unit, running on a high-end PC, in a customized van.

Equipment

Each van is equipped with a professional quality digital camera. The primary camera in the Yotta MVS fleet of collection units is the Olympus E-510.  This camera offers high resolution and image processing for superior image quality in all lighting situations.

The Yotta MVS "Verify and Capture" approach to image collection provides the process by which our crews are able to capture images which most accurately convey a property's value, appearance, and characteristics.  This approach also allows time not only to field verify, but to field identify as well. Permanently labeling images in the field with their unique identifiers is the cornerstone of an accurate image database.
