Provides Challenge
A
complex scope of services, excess traffic and stifling heat all converge
to define the project currently underway in and around
Orlando,
Florida. Situations like this give
Mobile Video the opportunity to bring its experience to bear on the issues
as they arise and meet the challenges.
The Orange County Property Appraiser elected to have his field
crews ride in the back of the van, each in his/her own district.
In just six to eight short months, the data for every structure
will be compared to what is visible in the field.
And as an added bonus, the property sketches from the CAMA file
were geo-referenced on top of the ortho displayed in the van or at the
desktop. What a great way to
practice change detection either in the field or at the desktop.
A
collaborative funding effort among agencies added an additional
requirement to collect a point for every place where someone could work or
live. The benefits of this GIS
layer is apparent to emergency response agencies, and will be apparent to
those who match records with the Federal Census Bureau in the coming
