News Archives:Dallas Project Nears Completion Big "D" is big indeed, and we are proud to have been awarded the contract to collect at least one image of each of the 650,000+ structures in Dallas County. Not only does the number of structures make this project special, but the high number of commercial properties and gated communities adds to the complexity as well. Mobile Video crews, with the help of local temporary drivers, worked six days a week, Saturday through Thursday, for nine months to complete the initial image collection. Weekends afforded them the opportunity to image thousands of commercial structures with the least number of vehicles obstructing the view. For the next six weeks, and from now on, crews will be calling on each gated community with authorization from DCAD to enter and image those properties as well, insuring the quality and equity of appraisals for all of the properties in DCAD.
